Rapid Cloud Partners seeks a part-time IT Project Manager to join its project implementation staff. Contract basis also welcome. The position allows for creating a flexible schedule up to 30 hours per week.
IT Project Manager
- As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects and/or programs for various IT initiatives related to RCP client engagements. These engagements will typically involve cloud system implementations for RCP partners and affiliates as well as projects to improve client business processes, security and other critical areas as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate medium/large projects as well as strategic initiatives by compiling detailed project plans and task/milestone assignments/LoE estimates across all project tasks and resources
- Effectively relay project plans to all involved parties and act as the point of contact for any issues that arise
- Coordinate and lead sessions with proper client and RCP stakeholders to resolve any conflicts/issues that arise across a program/project
- Work closely with client on status reporting and timelines; adhere to proper change management processes, ensure action items and decision points are shared and agreed upon across all key stakeholders
- Assess stakeholder needs and issues, and document scope in a clear and concise manner
- Quickly learn and adapt to various systems and technologies and adhere to an agreed upon project management methodology
- Work with vendors, partners and affiliates as needed to ensure client needs are met and projects are moving in accordance with agreed upon timelines and budget
- Manage multiple client engagements as needed
Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information System, Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Four or more years of relevant experience
- Proven experience managing complex projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong executive presentation skills to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively
- Ability to meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Ability to develop comprehensive project plans
- Detailed understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, etc.
- Experience with software in a ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) environments
- Knowledge and use of ERP and CRM systems (like Salesforce/NetSuite)
Desired Requirements:
- Masters degree such as MBA or MsC Computer Information Systems
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, demanding, customer and team-oriented work environment
- Certifications in Netsuite, Salesforce, PMI etc
- Impeccable interpersonal, influencing, and team building skills and must have demonstrated experience in strategic cross team collaboration to drive alignment and delivery of complex problems
- Be proactive, effective, versatile and action-oriented, having a “whatever it takes” attitude
- Comfortable presenting to C-Level and below
- Ability to pinpoint high level priorities and communicate high level details
- Understanding of systems architecture and relevant technologies
- Experience with Wrike or similar project management tools
